After almost three months back in England, (Grand Daughter Christening, Moving House & Mothers 85th Birthday, we are back on board Hecamede.
A short but excellent sail to Ceuta, the Spanish equivalent to Gibraltar. A Spanish enclave on the north coast of Africa, a tax free oasis.

26th May To Barbate
The last stop before passage through the straits of Gibraltar, Barbate,s claim to fame is as center of the Spanish Tuna netting.
From here it is critical to leave to get the fair tide through the straits.
